Ini merupakan angka tertinggi dari jenis energi lain penghasil gas emisi CO2 dikarenakan konsumsi pemakaian BBM memang paling besar dibanding dengan sumber energi fosil lain. Hal ini tentunya berdampak buruk bagi lingkungan. Sudah saatnya kita beralih ke sumber energi terbarukan yang lebih ramah lingkungan.<\/p>\n<p>Berbicara tentang sumber energi terbarukan, Indonesia sebenarnya memiliki sejuta potensi dalam menghasilkan energi terbarukan. Berikut 5 hal yang membuat Indonesia layak menjadi pusat energi terbarukan.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>40% cadangan sumber energi panas bumi dunia<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Indonesia menduduki peringkat ketiga sebagai penghasil energi listrik dari energi panas bumi. Bayangkan, berapa banyak rumah yang bisa diterangi oleh energi yang dihasilkan oleh Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Panas Bumi (PLTPB)?<\/p>\n<p>2. Sinar matahari 12 jam per hari<\/p>\n<p>Berkat posisi strategisnya di garis khatulistiwa, Indonesia dianugerahi sinar matahari yang melimpah. Sumber energi ini tentu bisa dimanfaatkan untuk\u00a0Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS).<\/p>\n<p>3. Angin kencang sepanjang tahun<\/p>\n<p>Sebagai negara kepulauan, sumber energi baru terbarukan lain yang melimpah di Indonesia adalah angin. Energi angin ini dapat ditangkap oleh Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Angin, kemudian diubah menjadi listrik untuk digunakan masyarakat.<\/p>\n<p>4. Energi gelombang laut<\/p>\n<p>Panjangnya garis pantai Indonesia menunjukkan besarnya potensi energi gelombang laut untuk dikembangkan menjadi Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Gelombang Laut.<\/p>\n<p>5.
