Pemanfaatan bioenergi merupakan sebuah upaya menuju pengurangan emisi karbon neto pada tahun 2060. Dalam pembicaraan yang diadakan di Jakarta, Plt. Dirjen Energi Baru Terbarukan dan Konservasi Energi (EBTKE) Kementerian ESDM RI, Jisman P. Hutajulu, mengungkapkan bahwa sektor bioenergi memberikan kontribusi signifikan, mencapai 7,7 persen dari total bauran energi nasional.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jisman menyatakan apresiasi terhadap upaya Asosiasi Produsen Biofuel Indonesia (APROBI) dalam mengadakan seminar tentang tantangan yang dihadapi oleh industri bioenergi. Menurutnya, kolaborasi antara pemerintah dan pelaku usaha sangat penting dalam mengembangkan dan memanfaatkan bioenergi secara efektif.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Salah satu kesuksesan program biodiesel adalah penghematan devisa negara sebesar lebih dari Rp 122 triliun pada tahun 2023. Sumber: APROBI<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Indonesia memiliki komitmen untuk mengurangi emisi gas rumah kaca, dengan target 29 persen pada tahun 2030 yang telah diperbarui menjadi 31,9 persen melalui usaha internal, serta penurunan sebesar 41 persen dengan bantuan internasional yang telah diperbarui menjadi 43,2 persen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bioenergi memiliki peran krusial dalam mencapai target emisi nol. Ini tidak hanya sebagai sumber energi terbarukan, tetapi juga sebagai bagian integral dari strategi untuk mengurangi emisi karbon dan mendukung pertumbuhan ekonomi yang berkelanjutan. Bioenergi dapat digunakan di berbagai sektor, termasuk pembangkit listrik, industri, transportasi, dan rumah tangga.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wakil Ketua Umum APROBI, Catra de Thouars, mengakui bahwa masih banyak masyarakat yang belum menyadari potensi sektor bioenergi, meskipun Indonesia telah menjadi pelopor dalam pengembangan biodiesel. Dia menyoroti manfaat positif dari industri bioenergi yang mencakup biodiesel, bioetanol, dan bioavtur.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Seminar tentang tantangan industri bioenergi mencakup berbagai topik, termasuk perkembangan regulasi, implementasi standar kelapa sawit berkelanjutan (ISPO), dan program bioenergi.
