Indonesia, melalui Badan Riset dan Inovasi Nasional (BRIN) dan PT ABE Indonesia Berjaya, bekerja sama dengan Green Power Development Corporation of Japan (GPDJ), kini tengah mengembangkan proyek bioavtur yang menjanjikan. Proyek ini sudah memasuki tahap pembangunan pabrik di Banyuasin, Sumatera Selatan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kerja sama ini berawal dari inisiatif Indonesia Japan Business Network (IJBNet) yang telah berlangsung selama tiga tahun. Deputi Bidang Kebijakan Pembangunan BRIN, Mego Pinandito, mengungkapkan bahwa bahan baku untuk bioavtur ini bersumber dari kelapa non-standar. Bahan baku tersebut telah diakui dan masuk dalam positive list Organisasi Penerbangan Sipil Internasional (ICAO).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cPenambahan kelapa non-standar ke dalam positive list ICAO adalah hasil dari inovasi dalam mencari sumber bahan baku Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) yang baru. Ini membuka peluang bagi negara-negara penghasil kelapa, termasuk Indonesia, untuk berkontribusi dalam pengurangan emisi karbon di sektor penerbangan,\u201d ujar Mego dalam acara penandatanganan kerja sama di Gedung B.J. Habibie, Jakarta pada 18 Juli. Langkah ini juga mendukung kesepakatan global untuk pembangunan berkelanjutan dan pencapaian karbon netral.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Bahan baku Sustainable Aviation Fuel<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dalam proses produksi bioavtur, kelapa non-standar diolah menjadi minyak kelapa mentah atau crude coconut oil (CCO). Bahan baku ini penting karena kelapa merupakan komoditas vital di industri pangan. Kelapa non-standar terdiri dari kelapa yang terlalu tua, berukuran kecil, mulai membusuk, atau yang sudah bertunas. Indonesia, dengan potensi kelapa yang melimpah, terpilih sebagai lokasi pabrik CCO. Sekitar 30 persen dari total kelapa di negara ini termasuk dalam kategori non-standar.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">PT ABE Indonesia Berjaya, sebagai pelaksana proyek lokal, ditargetkan untuk memproduksi 100 ton CCO per hari dari kelapa non-standar. Teknologi mesin traceability system yang dikembangkan oleh anak bangsa akan digunakan dalam proses produksi, memastikan transparansi dan efisiensi.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ketua Umum IJBnet, Suyoto Rais, menyampaikan rasa syukurnya atas pencapaian ini. Ia menyatakan bahwa kebijakan ICAO yang mendukung penggunaan energi terbarukan untuk mengurangi ketergantungan pada bahan bakar fosil akan memberikan dampak positif bagi industri penerbangan. \u201cProyek ini merupakan kabar baik bagi semua stakeholder kelapa di Indonesia, yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pendapatan petani dan devisa negara,\u201d ujarnya.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Perkembangan ini memperkuat komitmen para pemangku kepentingan untuk menerapkan bioavtur secara lebih luas.
