Sebagai bagian dari strategi nasional, pemerintah telah merampungkan uji penggunaan bahan bakar B40 (40% minyak sawit dan 60% solar) untuk mesin diesel di sektor non-otomotif sejak Maret 2024 lalu. Peningkatan persentase campuran biodiesel ini adalah langkah krusial yang membutuhkan kesiapan seluruh pemangku kepentingan.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Bukan Hanya untuk Jalan Raya, Tapi Seluruh Sektor Ekonomi<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>Program B40 tidak hanya terbatas pada sektor transportasi darat yang telah melalui uji jalan (<em>road test<\/em>) pada berbagai tipe dan merek kendaraan. Jangkauan uji coba ini sangat luas, mencakup berbagai jenis mesin di sektor vital lainnya. Seperti traktor pertanian, alat berat tambang, kapal laut, lokomotif kereta api, hingga pembangkit listrik tenaga diesel (genset). Kegiatan ini merupakan kelanjutan dari tahapan uji teknis pemanfataan biodiesel yang telah dimulai sejak tahun 2018.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dr. Cahyo Setyo Wibowo, dalam laporan <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Uji Penggunaan Bahan Bakar B40 untuk Mesin Diesel Sektor Non-Otomotif<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> pada <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">8th Pekan Riset Sawit Indonesia (PERISAI) 2024<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, menjelaskan bahwa uji coba B40 untuk sektor non-otomotif adalah bagian integral dari inovasi bahan bakar terbarukan di Indonesia.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Kolaborasi Multisektor demi Kesuksesan Biodiesel B40<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Proyek ambisius ini dikoordinasikan oleh Direktorat Jenderal Energi Baru Terbarukan dan Konservasi Energi (EBTKE) Kementerian ESDM. Serta didanai oleh Badan Pengelola Dana Perkebunan (BPDPKS). Pelaksana uji coba melibatkan berbagai pihak, termasuk Balai Besar Pengujian Minyak dan Gas Bumi (BBPMGB) Lemigas, PT Pertamina (Persero), Asosiasi Produsen Biofuels Indonesia (APROBI), Balai Besar Pengujian Standar Instrumen Mekanisasi Pertanian (BBPSI Mektan), serta berbagai perusahaan swasta besar seperti PT Yanmar Diesel Indonesia, PT Kubota Indonesia, PT Tri Ratna Diesel, PT Pamapersada Nusantara, PT Trakindo Utama, PT Komatsu Indonesia, PT Altrak 1978, PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero), dan PT PLN (Persero).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pengujian dilakukan secara menyeluruh untuk memastikan kesesuaian teknis dan keamanan operasional B40 dalam berbagai kondisi lapangan. Aspek yang diuji mencakup performa mesin, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">cold startability<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (kemampuan menyala pada suhu rendah), kompatibilitas material, ketahanan penyimpanan hingga enam bulan, serta potensi penyumbatan filter (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">filter clogging<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">) yang dapat mempengaruhi sistem injeksi bahan bakar. Data yang terkumpul akan menjadi dasar penyusunan instruksi kerja teknis penanganan dan penyimpanan B40. Serta rekomendasi teknis untuk penerapan B40 di masing-masing sektor non-otomotif.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Manfaat Ganda Biodiesel B40: Ekonomi dan Lingkungan<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cahyo (2024) menjelaskan bahwa setiap sektor memiliki pengujian spesifik. Seperti <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">cold startability<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> selama enam bulan dan pengoperasian mesin 1.000 jam untuk alat mesin pertanian (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">alsintan<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">), serta <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">merit rating<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> komponen dan uji operasional lokomotif dengan rute Yogyakarta\u2013Pasar Senen selama 1.200 jam untuk sektor kereta api.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Implementasi B40 secara nasional diperkirakan mampu menghemat devisa hingga US$9 miliar per tahun. Selain itu, meningkatkan konsumsi FAME domestik hingga 15 juta kiloliter pada tahun 2025, menurut laporan S&amp;P Global Commodity Insights. Dampak positif ini juga akan dirasakan langsung oleh petani sawit melalui stabilitas harga tandan buah segar (TBS). Yang mana berdampak pada peningkatan kesejahteraan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dari sisi lingkungan, penggunaan B40 berpotensi menurunkan emisi karbondioksida sebesar 41-42 juta ton per tahun. Angka ini setara dengan emisi jutaan kendaraan bermotor. Meski demikian, tantangan utama tetap terletak pada keberlanjutan pembiayaan program. Dengan kebutuhan mencapai Rp 47 triliun, sementara pungutan ekspor sawit belum mencukupi, pemerintah sedang mengkaji opsi fiskal. Contohnya, seperti peningkatan pungutan dan skema pembiayaan alternatif (Cahyo, 2024).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Uji B40 sektor non-otomotif ini menjadi fondasi krusial menuju pengembangan B50 pada tahun 2026. Selain itu, juga pengujian bioavtur 3% untuk sektor penerbangan pada tahun 2027.
