Dengan kekayaan sumber daya nabati, Indonesia tidak hanya berambisi menerapkan SAF di sektor penerbangan. Tetapi juga membangun industri SAF nasional berbasis inovasi dan pemanfaatan sumber daya lokal yang melimpah. Khususnya dari komoditas sawit dan limbahnya.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jurnal PASPI Monitor (2025) menekankan bahwa pengembangan SAF sawit menjadi kunci untuk &#8220;langit yang lebih hijau&#8221;. Yang pasti dengan memanfaatkan minyak inti sawit, produk samping (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">by-product<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">), dan limbah sawit.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Minyak Sawit dan Keunggulan Teknologi HEFA<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Minyak sawit adalah salah satu bahan baku utama yang sangat potensial untuk produksi bioavtur. Asam lemak dalam minyak inti sawit secara kimiawi mirip dengan hidrokarbon bahan bakar fosil. Melalui teknologi <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">hydro-processed esters and fatty acid<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (HEFA), asam lemak ini dapat diolah menjadi SAF.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Inovasi Riset dan Komersialisasi: Melalui program <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Grant Riset Sawit<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (GRS) BPDP, riset intensif telah menghasilkan inovasi teknologi seperti Katalis Merah Putih. Hasilnya, Kilang Pertamina Internasional (KPI) Cilacap berhasil memproduksi bioavtur J2.4 (campuran 2,4% bioavtur dengan avtur fosil) menggunakan minyak inti sawit (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">RBDPKO<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">) dengan teknologi <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">co-processing<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kinerja Teruji: Bioavtur J2.4 telah lulus uji penerbangan pada pesawat CN-235 (2021) dan Garuda Indonesia (2023, rute Jakarta-Solo). Hasilnya, menunjukkan kinerja mesin yang stabil tanpa perbedaan signifikan dibandingkan avtur konvensional.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kesiapan Industri: Faktor pendukung utama komersialisasi bioavtur di Indonesia adalah ketersediaan bahan baku sawit, kematangan teknologi HEFA, serta kapabilitas kilang <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">co-processing<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> KPI yang mencapai 347 juta kiloliter per tahun.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Minyak Jelantah &amp; PFAD: Limbah Bernilai Tinggi untuk SAF Berkelanjutan<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Selain minyak sawit primer, Indonesia memiliki potensi besar dari limbah dan produk sampingan sawit. Tentunya memberikan keuntungan signifikan dalam aspek keberlanjutan: minyak jelantah (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Used Cooking Oil<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \/ UCO) dan Palm Fatty Acid Distillate (PFAD).<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pengurangan Emisi Maksimal: Karena UCO dan PFAD dianggap sebagai limbah atau produk samping, pengurangan emisi siklus hidup (SAF berbasis limbah) lebih signifikan. Penggunaan UCO sebagai bahan baku SAF memiliki nilai <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Indirect Land Use Change<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (ILUC) nol, yang menghasilkan penghematan emisi karbon (carbon intensity) paling rendah, yaitu sekitar 84% dibandingkan avtur fosil (ICAO, 2021).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sertifikasi CORSIA: Baik UCO maupun PFAD termasuk dalam <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">positive list<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> sebagai <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CORSIA eligible fuel<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, karena nilai <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Life Cycle Assessment<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (LCA) yang rendah dan tidak terkait dengan konversi lahan. Ini memastikan SAF Indonesia diakui secara global sebagai bahan bakar pesawat yang berkelanjutan.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ekonomi Sirkular: Pemanfaatan minyak jelantah mendukung ekonomi sirkular. Di mana limbah rumah tangga dan komersial yang diproyeksikan mencapai 3,9 juta ton per tahun (Kemenko Marves, 2024). Ini diubah menjadi energi bernilai tinggi yang memenuhi kriteria keberlanjutan CORSIA.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>Potensi Masa Depan: POME dan TKKS<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Potensi <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">feedstock<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> tidak berhenti di sana. Produk sampingan sawit lainnya, seperti <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Palm Oil Mill Effluent<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (POME) dan Tandan Kosong Kelapa Sawit (TKKS), juga tergolong sebagai limbah yang berpotensi memenuhi kriteria CORSIA <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">eligible fuel<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">POME: Limbah cair kaya senyawa organik ini berpotensi diolah menjadi SAF menggunakan teknologi jalur HEFA.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">TKKS: Biomassa padat ini potensial dimanfaatkan melalui teknologi <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fischer-Tropsch<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> atau <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Alcohol-to-Jet<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> untuk produksi bioavtur di masa mendatang.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kekayaan sumber daya ini, didukung kematangan teknologi HEFA dan inovasi Katalis Merah Putih.
