APROBI National Seminar Reveals “Golden Opportunities” for Bioenergy Toward Indonesia 2045
The Indonesian Biofuel Producers Association (APROBI) made a significant impact with its annual National Seminar, “Opportunities and Challenges of the Bioenergy Industry Toward Golden Indonesia 2045,” held at the Pullman Hotel, Jakarta, on Thursday, July 17, 2025. Following the massive success of last year’s event, this seminar has drawn widespread attention from industry leaders and academia alike.

Catra de Thouars, APROBI’s Vice Chairman for Communications and Promotion, noted in his opening remarks that the seminar is a vital hub for exchanging insights in the renewable energy sector. “With such high enthusiasm from participants, this seminar is now an annual fixture. We hope these discussions provide a positive impact for industry players, students, and policymakers,” Catra stated.
He further emphasized that bioenergy will serve as a primary pillar in achieving the ambitious Golden Indonesia 2045 vision. Catra urged the government to issue proactive policies to maintain the momentum of biofuel producers and expand the reach of green energy programs, which have a direct positive impact on public welfare.
